As an Innkeeper, this is also my busy season. I found who myself nodding in agreement with everyone of these points. It is a true balancing act but you are reminding each of us how important it is to care for our bodies and hearts while serving others. Thank you… I really enjoyed this post. ❤️

I love this gentle list. My favourite times of the day are the beginning and end: that first cup of coffee, and the half hour ‘golden time’ after putting the baby to bed. They just feel so expansive and calm!

Confessiong autumn-girl here, too 🍂

It's incredible how I could picture you during every activity you described. I just love your writing style, it feels like you are talking to me over your morning coffee ✨

Congratulation on moving forward with your photography services and I would love to read business style post with your gentle nudge to it!

This was beautiful Hunter, it is so easy to get swept up in summer. It’s great to hear how well your photography work is going and how you are managing to ground yourself in this season. Having a first hot drink of the day, reading and evening baths are all little rituals I have come to rely on in this full chapter! xx

Love these ideas so much! Summer is challenging for me to stay on my schedule bc I have to walk late (it’s very hot where I live), which makes me more likely to go to bed late. But it’s just a season and may as well embrace it. Side note: I really want to drink raw milk but am nervous. Where do you get yours? (I mean store or farmer..?) what have your experiences been? Not that I trust the government but all the propaganda does give me hesitation.

Beautiful Hunter! Simple and effective ways to be more 'present' in our days!

I would add mindful breathing, couple of time a day..to check in on ourself. When I have too many thoughts I stop whatever I am doing and look up/ out the window. Take few deep breaths, connect with the sound of my breathing and relax.

Very helpful during long and busy days.

Hunter.. I make the same smoothie ( minus the peanut butter I need to try it)

I am so super proud how your photography is going.. I always knew you had the talent you just needed the confidence to step outside and let people know… look how successful you are so I mustn’t be the only one who thinks so love you xx

I love this list, Hunter. Making time for reading is a big one for me too. And during my working week, I make a point of starting my day with a cup of coffee whilst I set out my priorities, trying to be mindful of my time and energy that day and what is possible (I’m terrible for taking on too much!). I find giving myself that space and a slower start to the working day helps me be far more productive.
