Aww I am such a sucker for quotes too, I love them. They are so serene! Such a brilliant post✨
One of that I wrote everywhere was ‘Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom’ by Søren Kierkegaard. To my disappointment, I later found out that it’s not a quote, the actual quote is way longer and not straight forward. But whatever, still love it 🥰
Love these quotes! I often find quotes that explain how I’m feeling or what I’m experiencing far better than I can explain it. But I am a sucker for a good quote 🥰
Quotes can be so powerful can’t they! I too have collected them for years......yes literally years & years & years & they still give me a sense of peace, calm & abundant joy in a world that often times seems frenetic, disjointed & completely at odds with my heart desire to live slowly & tread gently on my path.
I love that you collect them too, they can absolutely be so powerful! It's like wise words from a friend in a sentence or two. Thanks for your comment!
I often think back to the statements and wise words my mum would say when I was having a bad time or just needed council… I hope my children/grandchildren remember my words ..
“From little acorns, mighty oaks grow” … is one of my faves … one day at a time, one step at a time .. things don’t need to be huge to begin.. and size doesn’t matter … xx
Love this list! So many inspiring words here. I'm a collector of quotes too - have a whole Pinterest board for them called Word to the Wise. 🤓 Definitely started as a teenager too and still love when I find something that sums up so beautifully how I'm feeling or experiencing something. They can make fro great journal prompts too. My current favourite is Mary Oliver's Instructions for Living a Life: "Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it." ❤️

Quotes are the best! Aw man, haha well maybe that's just become your own quote then. I love it!! And it rings very true.

Oh I love that! I've seen people write family manifesto's and I think it's so sweet. I love that you're being intentional with your family's sayings.

Oooh I love that quote, it's really good! Definitely adding it to my list. Thanks!
They do! Was also writing a lot of angsty poetry, not gonna lie. 😂
Hahah oh same. So broody at that age 😂
Ahh what a beautiful post!
Lots I’ve not read before and will re read now again. I’m forever highlighting in my kindle thinking I must share these quotes further. ✨
