When I was a teenager, I had an obsession with quotes. I literally have journals filled with them, and I would refer back every single time something happened in my life that I needed direction. It became my own little compass. I still remember viciously searching online (back when I was on Xanga) for quotes that perfectly encapsulated my deep and intimate feelings of being a 13-year-old. As I grew up, I learned to seek wisdom in other places, such as myself or my mom, a therapist, or a trusted friend. I slowly just stopped writing down quotes and started creating my own through life.
But I still think there’s such beauty in these bite-sized pieces of insight that we can glean some personal experience with. I especially love seeing quotes from those that are living an intentional life as that’s the kind of life I’m striving for. I figured if I find joy in them, then maybe you will too. So, today’s letter is filled with quotes all about living intentionally that I’ve compiled over the last few months. I hope that maybe you find some of your own wisdom through someone else’s words.

One of that I wrote everywhere was ‘Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom’ by Søren Kierkegaard. To my disappointment, I later found out that it’s not a quote, the actual quote is way longer and not straight forward. But whatever, still love it 🥰
