Ahh so beautiful to hear your plane journey went well.
Such a lovely catch up piece.
I adore peonies and grow dark pink ones here. It’s a shame I can’t add a pic.
This week, I’ve taken the children on a special trip to a huge play structure inspired by faeries and goblins and sprites so that’s just been so gloriously magical. We went after school so that felt like a break in the routine as did having sarnies for dinner!
I’m hoping my son remembers it and although he’s not one for “being excited” I think he had a good time. My daughter definitely did and the image of her playing barefoot on the lawn in-front of the castle will stay with me a long time.
I’m going to print some of our photos this weekend. ✨💌✨ 📸 🏰✨🎁
Ah I love that you grow peonies!! You'll definitely have to share a picture with me sometime!
And wow, that sounds like an incredible fun activity to do in the middle of the week. How special!! They will absolutely remember it. It sounds magical.
I really do love reading this every week!!! Peonies are without doubt my favourite flower too!!! I’m loving your travel adventures... makes me feel so inspired! Soak up that lovely family time! Xxx
Aw thank you, Lauren! You're the best! Peonies are soo beautiful! And yes, there's nothing quite like quality family time! I'm holding close to every moment!
None of this magic is at all mundane! Loving following your travels, and totally understand (from bitter experience!) that flying-with-child anxiety. More pictures of food, please! Safe onward journeys. xx
I really look forward to these posts, Hunter! Hope you have the most magical time in Europe 🥰
So happy to hear that! Thank you so much :)

You're so right! Not living very mundane for the next few weeks, but then it'll be back to regular programming :)
I will definitely post all the food pictures in the big travel post! Thanks so much for following along!!
Agreed! Sometimes I catch myself eating a meal super quickly standing up in the kitchen and I'm like, whoa, slow down girl. 😂
There's something so therapeutic about slow dinners.
