I love this- thank you for sharing. I've been loving sharing all the names of the flowers popping up with my three year old, the first year he's been really old enough to learn and remember. He calls crocus' 'crows'- and now they've all gone walks round asking, 'Mummy, where's the crows gone?'

Aw, Katie, that is so so cute! I can't wait until my little one is old enough to understand things like that. How special! And that's so funny about him calling crocus' crows. Too sweet!

How lovely to read your thoughts around embracing the season of spring.

I’m like you & adore autumn & am certainly cherishing the change in seasons here along with the increase in dappled light & beautiful leaves to kick around when our walking. The 5yo in me is alive & well!!

Isn’t this world amazing for all the things it offers us no matter which hemisphere we are in & what season we have on offer 🧡

I love that the 5yo in you is thriving! Mine is too :) And it is amazing, there's something so beautifully poetic about the changing seasons. Thank you for commenting!

Like you, I'm a autumn lover too. But this year I've noticed how much I love spring and all of the life metaphors found in the new beginning of this season. So many great tips you've shared to make the most of this spring. Thank you :)

This is a lovely list - I can already cross some off the list, the garden center, buying flowers and the photo walk :-) But it's still to rainy and cold to walk barefoot on grass, but I am really looking forward to it <3

Even just imagining doing things on this list is making me feel calmer. Thanks for sharing. Some of them I do a lot anyway but some are new ideas to try. I am extremely lucky to be surrounded by nature and it's my first spring here so I'm looking forward to observing all the changes and new life.

I'm so glad this list made you feel calm. That's the best! Where do you live?

I live near Clitheroe. It's such a stunning place. I am extremely fortunate. At the moment we have lots of curlews near our home. They are apparently in decline in the UK so I feel even more privileged to be able to watch and hear them from my own window.

Oh wow! I don't think I've been there before but I'm sure it's so beautiful, like all of the UK. And that's so nice about the curlews, I'm glad you get to enjoy them!

Well if you ever do come this way you can't go wrong. There are so many beautiful views and walks

My favorite are hikes in the nature. But I have to wait a little longer for the warm weather :)

Ah I love this Hunter! I love the idea of being a tourist in your own town and for us we have so many beautiful wild spaces - we should make a list! 🥰

Thanks, Claire! Yes!! So fun. I feel like it's a unique thing for our town that you wouldn't otherwise think about-- but definitely something to do anywhere you live. Hope you make a fun list!!

A gorgeous list! Love the photo at the top too, that glowy light is dreamy. ✨ It still feels quite wintering here (although the snow has largely gone now) but I'm looking forward to spring things. Photo walks, spring flowers and a cup of tea outside are all on my list too! 💐

Ah thank you, Charlene! I took the photo a few years ago and tried to find the original so I could re-edit it, but no luck haha I still like it though!

Aww yes, hopefully spring is in sight for you soon!! I love a good cup of tea outside.

I think after a long winter you appreciate the spring days even more - definitely ready for a new season now! 😅 The photo is lovely - I get that urge to re-edit though. I spent a long while looking for a photo I wanted for my Sunday letter this week and then ended up using something totally different in the end! 😂

Definitely! Yeah I sometimes go through phases where I want a different editing style, but then always ending going back to my normal one haha

And I totally get taking forever to pick a photo to use, I always go by how it makes me feel so I'll spend forever hunting for the right one to use!

I don't feel like I have an editing style yet at all - definitely the area of my photography that I want to work on the most! I want to get to know Lightroom better so think I'll try to get more familiar with it this year.

That's how I choose too, haha! All about the feels. ✨

Oh yeah! I feel like once you have one you like, it makes the process so much easier and quicker. Are you using presets? Those are the best to get an editing style down! I always use the same ones as a base and then adjust the way I like it from there.

I got a couple of presets as part of a photography course I did and I've seen so many available to buy that look lovely - but I've still not got round to using them / learning about it yet! Can definitely see the benefits and being able to create your own too - it's that cohesion that it gives to a set of images that looks so beautiful on other people's pages. Looking forward to getting stuck into learning more during my Easter holidays. ✨
